Customers say "not today" to brakes, tires and leaks every week, and most of those lines never get looked at again. We follow up on each one at 30, 90 and 180 days with your tech's photo and a link to book. After you close, an AI answers the phone and books diagnostics. We set it up and run it.
If your shop system already sends declined-work reminders, we run and tune them for you instead of duplicating. Built for 2 or more bays and about 150 repair orders a month. From $1,997 setup + $697/mo, exact quote on the call. Need a website too? See the website plans.

How a declined line comes back
The tech's photo does the asking.
A declined line usually dies on the repair order. We pull those lines out, keep the tech's photo with each one, and follow up until the customer books or the line closes.
Day 0The line gets saved with its photo.
Your writer declines it in your shop system like always. We pick it up from your system's declined list, along with the price and the tech's photo or video.
Day 30First note: the photo, a 30-day price hold and a book link.
The price comes off your repair order. You can switch the price hold off if it doesn't suit your shop.
Day 90Second note, same photo.
Plenty of people wait until the noise starts. This one lands around then.
Day 180Last note, then it stops.
If they had it done somewhere else, they can say so and nothing more goes out. Anyone who books drops out of the follow-ups right away.

After you close
Night calls book a diagnostic for the morning.
When the shop is closed, an AI picks up instead of voicemail. It asks what the car is doing and puts a diagnostic on your schedule. During open hours your phone rings like it does now.
It sounds like a person on your team, and it's honest if someone asks and tells callers the call may be recorded or transcribed.
It books diagnostics only. It never gives a repair price, because nobody has seen the car.
Callers who want a person get a message taken and a callback from your writer at open.
You get one text at 7am with what came in overnight.

Put in your declined work.
Your shop system's declined-work report has most of these numbers. The share that comes back is your guess; start low.
How we count it on your report. A declined line counts as won back only if it sat declined for 14 days or more and booked after one of our follow-ups. A customer who comes back on their own the next week isn't ours to count.
What's in it.
Everything in Phones Off the Counter, plus the pieces below. We set them up on your shop number and keep them running.
Monthly reportExample
Declined work, October
Declined lines followed up 84
Booked after a follow-up 6
Recovered sales $1,940
After-hours diagnostics booked 5
Only lines declined 14+ days that booked after our note.
We check your system first
On the audit we look at what your shop system already sends and whether it can export declined lines. If it can't, this package isn't a fit yet and we'll tell you.
Everything in Phones Off the Counter.Missed calls texted a diagnostic booking link, status texts at checked in, waiting on parts and ready with a pay link, a review ask on every paid repair order and a bad-review alert.
Declined lines followed up at 30, 90 and 180 days. Each note carries the tech's photo or video from the inspection and a link to book. Texts go to customers who said texts are fine. Everyone else gets the same note by email.
A 30-day price hold. The first note holds the price from the repair order for 30 days. You can turn it off or change the length.
After-hours calls booked into diagnostics. It answers when you're closed, sounds natural, tells callers the call may be recorded or transcribed, and books a diagnostic. It never quotes a repair price.
Service-due reminders, only where you don't have them. Many shop systems already send these. If yours does, we leave them alone. If it doesn't, we set up reminders by date or mileage.
Recovered dollars on your report. One line on the monthly report: declined lines that came back and what they sold for, counted by the 14-day rule above.
A job card on the tech's phone.Every booked car sends the tech the year, make and model, what the customer said it's doing, any photos they sent, and what they declined last visit so it gets checked again. If your techs already work from a tablet in your shop system, we skip it.
The terms, in plain words.
Same terms on every setup. They go into the written agreement.
3 months, then month to month. No auto-renew term. After the first three months, cancel by text and it runs to the end of the month you've paid for, then stops.
Setup fee half at signing, half at go-live.You pay the second half when the live test passes.
You leave with everything.Your number, contacts, consent records, reviews and domain go with you. We file the port-out the next business day and send your CSV within 5 days. No fee from us.
Live about a week after text approval.Phone carriers approve business texting first, and they set that timing. Once they do, we're usually live about a week later.
At least 25 declined repairs followed up in your first 60 days live, or your next month is free.A declined line counts once its first follow-up goes out, with the tech's photo. The monthly report shows the count.
Price changes come with 60 days written notice. One flat number on one Stripe line. Usage is included up to the cap on your Service Order. If a price ever changes, you get 60 days in writing and you can leave on that date.
If you'd rather pay a year up front, it's 10 months' price.Your call, not a pitch. Ask for it and it goes on the Service Order.
Need it faster? Rush build is +50% on the setup.Same build, moved to the front of the line.
Texts only go to people who asked.Customers who called, booked or said texts are fine at drop-off. Declined-work notes to everyone else go by email. No cold texting and no AI calls out.
Starts at the from-price on the card.Your exact number comes from the free audit. You'll know the setup fee and the monthly before anything starts.
The middle step for auto repair.
Start smaller if the phone is the only problem. Step up to Full Bays when you want a maintenance club, light days filled and fleet accounts.
Our shop system already does declined-work reminders. Why pay you?
Then we don't build a second set. If your shop system already sends declined-work reminders, we run and tune them for you instead of duplicating: switch them on, add the tech's photo and the later notes if yours stops early, and track what comes back. Plenty of shops have the feature and nobody has time to run it. We check which case you're in on the audit.
Who gets the follow-ups, and how?
Customers with a declined line on a repair order. They get texts only if they said texts are fine, usually at drop-off. Everyone else gets the same note by email. Anyone can reply STOP or unsubscribe, and anyone who books drops out.
Where does the photo come from?
From your tech's inspection, the photo or video already on the repair order. If your techs don't take photos yet, we'll show you a quick way to add one to the line. No photo, the note still goes out with the line and the price.
Will the AI quote repair prices?
No. It books a diagnostic and that's it. Prices come from your writer after someone has looked at the car, the same as now.
Customers hang up on robots. Won't this cost us calls?
It only answers after you close, when the call would have gone to voicemail. It sounds like a person on your team, and it's honest if someone asks, keeps it short, and takes a message for a callback if the caller wants a person. During open hours your phone rings the way it does now.
How do you count what came back?
A declined line counts only if it sat declined for 14 days or more and booked after one of our follow-ups. That number goes on your monthly report with the repair order it came from, so you can check it.
What does it cost?
It's quoted because I put together the best setup for each business, based on its size and what it actually needs. I price it after the free audit, based on your repair orders, your bays and what your shop system already does. You'll see the setup fee and the monthly before anything starts. Website plans are listed on the main site.
How many repairs got declined last month?
Text Chase a rough number. We'll run the free audit with you, look at what your shop system already sends, and tell you if this setup fits.
