Fewer is it done yet? calls.

The customer gets a text at each step, so they don't have to call the counter to ask. Flip the status the way you already do, or tap one button, and the text goes out.

    • Missed call at the counter? The caller gets a text with a link to book a diagnostic. It never quotes a repair price.
    • After hours? In Better and Best, an AI answers when you can't. It sounds natural, tells callers the call may be recorded or transcribed, and books a diagnostic.
    Your numbers in, example out

What is your declined work worth?

Most shops can pull these numbers from their shop system in a few minutes. Put in your own and see what a small share coming back would mean in gross profit.

How we count a declined line as won back: it sat 14 or more days unbooked, then came back after one of our follow-ups. Only those go on your monthly report.

What the audit is: a call where we look at your declined work, what your shop system already sends and what you already pay for. If the numbers don't support a setup, we'll tell you.

Already on Tekmetric or Shopmonkey? We run the parts nobody has time to run.

Keep your shop system. Some of what's on this page may already be in it. The gap is usually the running: someone has to set it up, attach the photos, watch the replies and tune it.

What your system may already do

    • Declined-work and service-due reminders
    • Texting from the repair order
    • Review requests
    • Inspection photos on the RO

Tekmetric, Shopmonkey and Mitchell 1 each have some of this. We check what yours sends on the audit, so customers never get the same text twice.

What we add and run for you

    • The 30, 90 and 180-day follow-up, run by us. Your tech's photo or video on each one, a 30-day price hold and a book link.
    • Replies watched. When a customer answers, you get an alert, and the follow-ups stop once they book or say no.
    • After-hours diagnostic booking. An AI that sounds natural, mentions the call may be recorded or transcribed, and never quotes a repair price.
    • Status texts and a pay link where your system doesn't send them.
    • One monthly report with the dollars from declined work that came back.

If we can't get your declined lines out of your system, we tell you on the audit, before you pay anything.

On paper or a basic POS? Then the declined-work follow-up is all new for you, and we set up the whole thing.

    The terms, in plain words.

Same terms on every setup. They go into the written agreement.

    • 3 months, then month to month. No auto-renew term. After the first three months, cancel by text and it runs to the end of the month you've paid for, then stops.
    • Setup fee half at signing, half at go-live.You pay the second half when the live test passes.
    • You leave with everything.Your number, contacts, consent records, reviews and domain go with you. We file the port-out the next business day and send your CSV within 5 days. No fee from us.
    • Live about a week after text approval.Phone carriers approve business texting first, and they set that timing. Once they do, we're usually live about a week later.
    • Every setup has a results promise on its card. Each one names a number it has to hit in your first 60 days live. Miss it and your next month is free.
    • Price changes come with 60 days written notice. One flat number on one Stripe line. Usage is included up to the cap on your Service Order. If a price ever changes, you get 60 days in writing and you can leave on that date.
    • Texts only go to people who asked.Customers who booked with you or opted in. Declined-work follow-ups go by email to anyone who didn't say texts are fine. No cold texting and no AI calls out.
    • Site and automation together.Get a site and an automation together and the site's monthly is free while the automation runs. If you ever cancel the automation, the site's regular monthly comes back.
    • Starts at the from-price on the card.Your exact number comes from the free audit. You'll know the setup fee and the monthly before anything starts.

    Fair questions.

Ask us anything else by text.

Tekmetric already sends declined-work reminders. Why add this?

If yours is set up and someone runs it, keep it. We look at what it sends on the audit. Where we help is the part that takes time: the tech's photo on each follow-up, the price hold, watching replies, after-hours booking and the monthly report. If your system already covers a piece well, we leave that piece alone.

Will the AI quote repair prices over the phone?

No. It only answers when nobody at the counter can, like after hours. It sounds like a person on your team, and it's honest if someone asks, lets callers know the call may be recorded or transcribed, and books a diagnostic. Prices come from your advisor after the car is looked at.

What do my writers and techs have to do differently?

Very little. Writers keep marking declined lines on the RO and techs keep taking the inspection photos they already take. We pull the declined lines from your system. Status texts go out when the status changes, or from one button if your system can't trigger them.

    Won't customers get annoyed?

Each declined line gets three follow-ups at most, spread over six months. They stop when the customer books, says no or replies STOP. Customers who didn't say texts are fine get them by email.

We're a 1-bay shop. Is this for us?

Phones Off the Counter fits 1 to 3 bays. Declined Work Comes Back fits shops with about 150 repair orders a month. On the audit we'll tell you plainly if your numbers are too small for it.

    What does it cost?

Each package starts at the from-price on its card. Setup fees run from $997 to $3,997, and there's one above that, Everything Handled, for shops that want the whole front office handled. The software companies charge around $600 a month and hand you a login. Our entry package costs less and we do the work. Your exact number comes out of the free audit, from your repair orders, your declined work and what you already pay for, because a 1-bay shop and a 6-bay shop don't need the same build. If you'd rather pay a year up front, it's 10 months' price. Need it faster? Rush build is +50% on the setup. You see the setup fee and the monthly before anything starts. Website plans are listed on the main site.

How many more jobs are we talking?

Depends on what's leaking. A shop sending 20 quotes a month and closing 5 usually has 2 or 3 more in there that only needed a follow-up. The audit puts a real number on yours before you pay anything.

Will my customers get annoyed by the texts?

No. They only hear from you about a quote they asked for or work you already did, in your words, and every message stops the second they reply. Most people answer the first one.

I'm already busy. Why would I want more?

Then it's the right kind of busy. The follow-up is the part you skip because you're busy, and that's the money sitting on the table. It runs without you, and you get a text a week.

    Who's actually answering my phone?

Your line rings you first, same as now. Only the calls you can't take get a text back or an after-hours answer, and you see every one of them.

Do I need a new website for this?

No. It works with the site and the phone you have. If your site is the leak, the audit will say so, and that's a separate fix.

What does the first month look like?

Week one we set it up and you approve the wording. Day 7 it's live. Day 30 you get one page with what came back, in dollars.

How much declined work is sitting in your system?

Text Chase your repair orders a month. We'll run the free audit with you and tell you which setup your numbers support, if any. I build every system myself, so I take 4 new clients a month.
